Cyber Security Engineer (Network Security)

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer!

Our Security Architecture Team is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer with a focus in Network Security! Technical team members with a passion for security and career advancement should explore this job opening.

We require a candidate well-versed in Network Security and related technologies, capable of designing, implementing, overseeing, and solving issues within Network Edge infrastructures for our clients. Additionally, the ideal applicant will perform security audits and assessments and provide recommendations on security measures and efficiency.

What you'll do:

Independently work on projects and tasks
Participate in investigations and resolutions of security incidents and issues
Implement and maintain security controls, policies, procedures and guidelines
Deploy and manage technologies such as Forward and Reverse Proxy, Email Security, Web Application and API Protection, Bot Defense, Next-Generation Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs, Cryptographic Devices, etc.
Perform vulnerability assessments and security risk analysis using tools such as Tenable, Qualys etc.
Provide security guidance and support to other teams and projects
Stay up to date with the latest security trends and continuously develop professionally
Research and evaluate new security technologies and trends

What We Expect:

Experience in working as an Network/Security Engineer
Strong passion for security
In-depth knowledge and experience with computers and computer networks, especially in routing and switching, with extensive understanding of network security principles and practices
Practical experience with Check Point, F5 Networks, Proofpoint or Cisco Security portfolio
Relevant certificates from mentioned vendors or relevant vendor-agnostic certificates
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Python
Advanced proficiency in both spoken and written English
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

We could be a perfect fit if you have:

Practical experience with Symantec/Broadcom Forward and Reverse Proxy and Email Security portfolio
Practical experience with cryptographic protection of L2/L3 traffic using NATO/EU-approved devices
Practical experience with data diode/unidirectional gateway devices
Knowledge and experience with SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solutions
