We are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to join our team.

Cyber Security Consultant is responsible for managing the cyber security of our client's information environment and systems. This role involves assessing risks, implementing effective governance, and ensuring proactive responses to cyber incidents.

Primary job responsibilities for Cyber Security Consultant

It’s important to stress out that Cyber Security Consultant will oversee four main domains: Cyber and Information Security Governance, Cyber and Information Security Risk Management, Cyber and Information Security Program, and Cyber Incident Management.

Cyber Security Consultant will:

Establish and maintain the costumer’s vision, strategy, and security program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected.
Align information security strategies with business goals and objectives.
Analyze, plan, and develop information security strategies that align with governance structures.
Identify and manage potential information security risks, including emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and control deficiencies.
Develop and oversee an information security program, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive incident response plan, including identification, categorization, and management of security incidents.

Highly motivated problem solver currently working in any Cyber Security or IT position with some experience in overseeing team of experts who wants steer his/her career to more active role in cyber security or seasoned project manager with experience in cyber security projects.

Qualifications:

CompTIA Security+ certification or an equivalent certification is a must
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification is a plus
GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) certification is a plus
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification is a plus
Experience in information security governance, risk management, program development, and or incident management
Strong understanding of governance and technical controls focused on protecting, detecting, and responding to security issues
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Skills and languages:

Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in Croatian and English.
Knowledge of Slovenian language is highly beneficial.
