We are looking for an organized, motivated, and versatile professional to join our team as a Business Analyst/Project Manager. In this hybrid role, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, taking ownership of both business analysis and project management tasks. You will ensure that project goals align with business needs while overseeing the entire project lifecycle - from gathering requirements to delivering solutions.
As a Business Analyst / Project Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders to define, document, and analyse business requirements. You will then take these requirements through to project execution, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.

What you'll do:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear business, functional, and technical requirements
Lead the delivery of software development and data & analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets
Manage project scope, resources, risks, dependencies, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating effective communication and decision-making
Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution design discussions
Work closely with software engineers, data analystis & data engineers, architects, and other specialists to deliver high-quality solutions
Support the definition of reporting, analytics, and KPI requirements and ensure their successful implementation
Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, process flows, project plans, status reports, and other key project artifacts
Monitor project progress, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous optimization of processes and delivery practices
Ensure successful project outcomes through proactive stakeholder management, effective governance, and a strong focus on business value

What we expect:

A degree in Business, IT / Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience in business analysis and project management within software development and/or data & analytics projects
Experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar) and working within cross-functional teams
Understanding of software delivery lifecycles, data and analytics concepts, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to proactively engage stakeholders, connect cross-functional teams, and create alignment towards shared goals
Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, MS Project, Visio, or similar)
Fluent both in Croatian and business English

Skills that will bring you extra points:

Active CBAP, PMP, PSPO, PSM, Scrum, or equivalent certification is a plus
Familiarity with Business Intelligence and reporting tools, such as Power BI
Familiarity with cloud-based data and analytics platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Databricks, or similar)
