We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, experience with both manual and automated testing tools, and the ability to ensure that all systems perform as expected. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions through thorough testing and collaboration with development teams.
What you'll do:
Requirement analysis, test planning, and test scenario preparation
Manual and automated functional and non-functional testing of web, mobile and big data solutions
Ensure that both frontend (UI) and backend (e.g. API, DB) system components work as designed
Validate integration between different systems and services in an end-to-end (E2E) context
Detailed bug reporting, analysis, and monitoring in collaboration with developers
Daily communication and collaboration with other team members to track progress, understand requirements and identify edge cases
Preparation of test and user documentation
Conducting workshops for customers/end-users

What we expect:
A minimum of 3 years in the same or similar role
Technical university degree or high-school degree with relevant experience
Very good English language (written and spoken)
Experience in testing web or big data systems
Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies
Strong understanding of the SDLC and QA role in it
Strong knowledge of web technologies (Client-Server architecture, HTML, CSS, REST)
Experience with SQL for querying and data validation
Experience with any ALM tool (Azure DevOps, Jira)
Experience with API testing and API testing tools (e.g. Postman, Swagger)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Skills that will bring you extra points:
Experience with performance testing and performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, K6)
Experience with automated testing and knowledge of any test automation framework (e.g. Playwright, Cypress)
Experience with testing systems hosted on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP
