Business Analyst / Project Manager (m/f)

We are looking for an organized, motivated, and versatile professional to join our team as a Business Analyst / Project Manager. In this hybrid role, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, taking ownership of both business analysis and project management tasks. You will ensure that project goals align with business needs while overseeing the entire project lifecycle - from gathering requirements to delivering solutions.

As a Business Analyst / Project Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders to define, document, and analyze business requirements. You will then take these requirements through to project execution, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Work with stakeholders to define business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and propose solutions.
Develop project plans, define scope, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful delivery.
Serve as the primary point of contact between business and technical teams, translating technical concepts for business stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address business challenges.
Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues as they arise to keep projects on track.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in both business processes and project execution.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, enhance solutions, and optimize project workflows.
Create and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, process diagrams, and status reports.
Track project performance and provide insights to improve future project delivery.

Requirements:

A degree in Business, IT / Computer Science, or relevant field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Fluent business English
Proven experience in both business analysis and project management roles within software development or other IT environments
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio (or similar diagraming tool), and other project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Azure DevOps)
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Ability to work independently and within a team
Readiness to learn new technologies, proactive and responsible approach to work

Skills for extra points:

Active CBAP, PMP, SCRUM (or equivalent) certificate is a plus
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus
